When Clarity Hides Behind Overthinking

Ever notice how the harder you try to figure something out, the foggier it gets?
This week I've been thinking through projects and goals until my brain just felt tired.
It’s easy to believe that constant productivity equals progress, but sometimes the wisest thing we can do is pause.
Life has rhythms and so do we. Some days call for deep focus and forward motion. Others invite us to step outside, breathe, and let things settle.
Today it’s beautiful out, and I’m choosing to work in the yard instead of forcing focus. I’m learning that’s not avoidance; it’s alignment.
Our minds need time to wander. Our bodies need permission to follow what feels alive. Forcing clarity rarely works, but listening does.
“Listen to the rhythm of your day. Allow your life to breathe. Honor the ebb as much as the flow.”
How do you know when it’s time to step back and let clarity find you?
